Senses Rehabilitation Home’s Christmas party
Action Care participated in the Senses Rehabilitation Home’s Christmas party for the disabled children and youth in their care. Action Care staff provided entertainment for the event and donations of food items and toys for the center.
Volunteering with [one of Action Care’s training programs] was a very unique experience. It was nice to see the shy but happy children opening up slowly to new things, games, people, language and crossing cultural barriers quickly.
